About

Kateryna Lahodivets advises financial institutions, international corporations, asset managers, private equity sponsors and real estate investment platforms on a broad range of financing matters. Her practice encompasses real estate finance, structured finance, fund finance, restructuring and capital markets transactions, with a particular focus on complex cross-border arrangements.

She regularly advises clients on sophisticated financing structures, including acquisition financing, securitization arrangements, refinancing transactions and bond issuances.

Kateryna has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating Luxembourg law-governed finance documents for leading international investors and financial institutions, supporting clients on high-value, multi-jurisdictional mandates across Europe and beyond.

EXPERIENCE

Kateryna's relevant experience includes advising:

  • A US asset manager as seller and lender on a repo arrangement structured through a Luxembourg securitisation vehicle for the financing of a company listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
  • A consortium of contractors in connection with an up to USD1.59bn project financing structured as a receivable sale financing for the underground section of Metro Line 3 of the Panama Metro, a major elevated monorail project.
  • An affiliate of the world’s leading media intelligence platform in connection with the issuance of USD1.2bn aggregate principal amount of senior secured notes.
  • A Luxembourg subsidiary of a Swiss independent investment manager, specialising in global energy transition infrastructure, on a cross-border NAV facility.
  • A leading global insurer on the Luxembourg law aspects of a highly sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional acquisition of a prime commercial real estate asset in Paddington, London, including the related financing restructuring.
  • A global health and wellness company and its Luxembourg subsidiaries on a USD1.45bn refinancing through a senior secured facility and a private notes offering.
