Emily Heck focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation, including general corporate, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), insurance, and complex contractual disputes.

Emily has represented clients in litigation in state and federal courts and arbitration regarding disputes involving the education, technology, hospitality, energy, and telecommunications sectors. Emily also has experience representing clients in internal corporate investigations and compliance matters.

Emily also maintains a robust healthcare and ERISA dispute practice. Her experience includes representing employers and employee benefit plans in class actions, individual ERISA claims, insurance disputes, and other employee benefits-related matters. She represents parties regarding ERISA fiduciary obligations, including with respect to plan investments, fee disclosures and prohibited transactions and exemptions.
