About
Wojciech Sulimierski focuses on Real Estate law. He has experience in providing services to developers, including commercial leases, real estate acquisitions and support in the construction process.
As part of his work with DLA Piper, he has been involved in numerous projects for the acquisition and sale of real estate and special purpose vehicles, as well as performance of due diligence of projects at various stages of their development.
Wojciech provides support in the organization of transactions, with a focus on transactions involving the acquisitions and sales of renewable energy projects, being responsible for the preparation of routing documentation and the execution of transactions.
Wojciech latest experience includes performing advisory on real estate aspects of financing numerous PRS investments.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advising the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on lending up to EUR 50 million to R4R Poland, an operator of residential rental accommodation in Poland, designated for the construction and operation of a nationwide portfolio of apartments.
  • Advising Stena Fastigheter, a major Swedish real estate investor, on its acquisition of two office buildings in Poland, i.e. the first phase of the Centrum Południe complex in Wrocław containing two connected office buildings, and the last building of the High5ive complex in Kraków, comprising a total of approximately 39,400 sq. m. of office space.
  • Advising Mithra Energy on a framework agreement and on the transactional aspects of the sale of a portfolio of seven PV projects in Poland owned by four SPVs with a total planned capacity of 26 MW to PGE Energia Odnawialna.
  • Advising EDP Renewables Polska (EDPR) on the sale of a 149 MW wind farm portfolio located in Poland to Mirova, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, for an estimated EUR 303 million. The sale concerned shares in six companies holding rights to six wind farms, some of which were already in operation and the majority of which were still under construction.
  • Advising OX2 on the development of a wind farm project in Kraśnik (Poland).
