Audrey Mucciante is a counsel in the Finance team with close to 20 years of experience advising lenders and borrowers on national and cross-border banking and finance transactions. Her practice covers a wide range of financing arrangements, including bank lending, leveraged and acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance, asset finance, and structured finance.

Audrey assists clients across the full lifecycle of complex financing transactions, from structuring to execution. Audrey regularly acts on large-scale and cross-border matters involving sophisticated financing structures, including acquisition finance, refinancing transactions and combined bank and capital markets solutions. She has strong experience in multi-layered debt structures, intercreditor arrangements and the implementation of security packages, helping clients achieve flexible and efficient financing outcomes in often challenging market conditions.

Audrey also has significant experience in insolvency and restructuring, advising clients in distressed situations and on related financing and corporate law matters.

EXPERIENCE

Audrey’s relevant experience includes advising:

  • Aareal Bank AG on the EUR200m financing of a pan-European portfolio of lifestyle hotels operating under the Hoxton and Mama Shelter brands.
  • A leading international investment bank on a sports finance transaction, including on the reorganisation, expansion and financing aspects of a global sports investment platform backed by a major private equity sponsor, further reinforcing the firm's position as a leading adviser on complex cross-border financings in the sports, media and entertainment sector.
  • A global health and wellness company on a major senior secured refinancing transaction involving the issuance of USD800m aggregate principal amount of senior secured notes due 2033.
  • QuadReal Property Group, a global real estate investment, development and operating company, on its acquisition of an eight-asset, 3,460 bed purpose-built student accommodation portfolio from Apollo-managed funds and entities for over GBP500m.
  • A pool of 5 lenders, led by Caisse d’Epargne et de Prévoyance Ile-de-France, on a EUR45 million facility made available to a NewCo established by MBO+ to finance the LBO acquisitions of French group HPS International and Luxembourg group Codipro.
  • A US investor on the acquisition of a portfolio of 33 UK hotels from the Abu Dhabi Investment Fund.
