Tristan Meagher focuses his practice on advising sports, media and entertainment-related clients on a wide variety of transactional based matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity investments, content licensing and distribution matters and commercial arrangements, including sponsorship agreements.

In addition to his work in the Media, Sports and Entertainment sector, Tristan advises clients in the broader M&A and private equity markets and acts as an advisor to the firm's clients on a wide range of general business law matters.

  • Investors in connection with the purchase and sale of ownership interests in various NFL, NBA, MLB and MLS franchises
  • The Tennessee Titans in connection with various commercial matters, including naming rights agreements and cornerstone sponsorship agreements
  • Qatar Investment Authority in connection with its investment in Monumental Sports & Entertainment
  • The lead-investor in a consortium pursuing the acquisition of the Washington Commanders
