• Advising a Polish consumer bank on a private securitisation of consumer loan receivables structured as a true sale to an Irish SPV, involving PLN 400 million notes subscribed for by a Polish bank forming part of a US banking group.

Working capital finance

• Advising a Swiss investment fund specialising in sustainable energy infrastructure on EUR 25 million financing raised from a Luxembourg alternative investment fund for general corporate purposes and further investments.
• Advising a Belgian holding company of an international funeral services group (with operations in Poland) on EUR 251.5 million financing provided by Luxembourg funds backed by a leading UK private credit manager, to support working capital, acquisitions and joint ventures.

Project finance / real estate finance

• Advising a Polish state-owned bank on PLN 66 million project financing for the construction of a grain storage facility.
• Advising a Polish bank (part of a French banking group) on EUR 37.5 million financing for the development of retail parks in Poland.
• Advising a German bank on EUR 35 million financing of a PRS residential development in Warsaw for a CEE real estate group backed by an Israeli sponsor.
• Advising a Polish bank (part of a Spanish banking group) on PLN 163 million and PLN 207 million financings for a Scandinavian investor in connection with PRS residential developments in Warsaw and Gdańsk.
• Advising a European renewable energy producer (headquartered in Poland) on bank financing for the construction of a PV project. *

Leveraged / acquisition finance

• Advising a Luxembourg holding company (from the insurance sector) on EUR 97 million acquisition financing provided by a syndicate comprising a Polish bank and Luxembourg funds (French private equity sponsor), including financing for bolt-on acquisitions.
• Advising a UK-based international data and market research group on EUR 280 million syndicated financing (multi-jurisdictional lender group) to fund acquisitions across Europe.
• Advising the agent for a Luxembourg lender (controlled by a UK private equity investor) on GBP 44 million financing for an international technology and entertainment group, supporting acquisitions in Poland and the Netherlands.
• Advising a bondholders’ agent (acting for Luxembourg funds managed by a leading US investment manager) on EUR 357 million financing for a French payment services group (PE-backed), for the acquisition of Polish targets.
• Advising a European pharmacy holding (headquartered in the Czech Republic) on financing provided by a Slovak private bank in connection with the acquisition of pharmacy businesses in Poland. *
• Advising a CEE-based label producer (headquartered in Poland) on financing provided by Polish banks for acquisitions of target companies in Estonia and Poland. *
