Paweł Matej has more than 10 years of experience in advising on international trade and the provision of cross-border services.

He supports clients in various customs issues, including classification, valuation and origin, as well as in matters related to non-tariff measures, including trade in dual-use items and military goods, product and environmental requirements, and sanctions. He has also assisted clients from the gambling and insurance sectors in providing their services across borders.

Paweł represents clients before common courts and administrative courts, the Polish customs authorities, and the European Commission, as well as advising them in penal-fiscal proceedings concerning violations of customs law and excise duty regulations.

Paweł has authored numerous articles in professional journals on subjects such as international trade and sanctions.
