Laurie Hutchins is Head of DLA Piper's Venture & Growth Lending practice, where she leads a nationwide team representing financial institutions in a wide range of sophisticated lending matters, including:

• Domestic and cross‑border transactions
• Venture & growth debt financings (senior and subordinate) for Series Seed, A, B, C, D+ companies
• Subordinated and mezzanine financings
• Cross-border lending transactions
• Asset-based lending, acquisition finance, and equipment loan facilities

With more than 15 years of experience, Laurie helps banks, private credit providers, and other financial institutions structure and negotiate complex debt financings requiring deep market and sector knowledge. Her practice focuses on transactions across all industries, including technology, energy, life sciences, health services, hardware, space tech, and AI, with a particular focus on venture & growth lending.
