Marc Lager

Marc Lager is head of the Austrian competition and foreign trade law practice.

He is an EU antitrust and competition lawyer with more than 20 years of experience in advising domestic and foreign clients on the full range of Austrian and EU antitrust law and investment controls. This includes issues related to EU merger control, internal investigations, antitrust damages law, abuse of market power, EU export controls, and sanctions.

Marc advises and represents clients on a broad range of contentious antitrust matters, including dawn raids, antitrust proceedings, as well as proceedings before Austrian competition authorities and antitrust investigations. He is co-author of the leading commentary of the Austrian Cartel Act, a featured speaker at international conferences as well as the author of numerous books and articles on antitrust law and foreign trade law.
