DLA Piper has advise on EUR800.000.000 financing for Melia Hotels International S A

DLA Piper, acting as legal counsel to the lenders, have advised on an EUR800,000,000 financing granted to Meliá Hotels International, S.A. by a banking syndicate led by Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A., CaixaBank, S.A. and Banco de Sabadell, S.A., as coordinating entities. The transaction represents one of the largest corporate financings in the Spanish hospitality sector to date.

The DLA Piper team was led by partner César Herrero, with the participation of Legal Director Carmen Fernández-Ladreda, Senior Associate Antonio Olarte Aguinaga and Junior Associate Sofía Osuna.
